A secret agent in her homeland of tetrograd, Kira Sonicova was given the task of tracking down and eliminating the " dangerious terrorist " Pinky Lefey. Aided by her governments imitation of Pinky's " Super Soldier treatment. " that gave her mastery of sound. Finally confronted Pinky on a crowded street in Independence Port. Resisting, Pinky suggested they move to a secluded Island close to Talos instead. To avoid civillian casualties, Agent Sonicova relunctedly agreed. Wary of an escape attempt, Agent Sonicova had a change of heart during there subsequent duel and allowed Pinky to escape. She instead investigated her own superiors and uncovered an abundance of corruption and conspiracies. It was then she discovered a plot for her own termination for " Failure of Duty " and trumped up charges of terrorism. Letting go of her own past, Agent Sonicova becomes SONICA, a true crime fighter.
