Character Bio

On April 26, 1986, the 4th reactor of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, exploded at 01:23 AM local time.

Mascha Petrovi was only a month pregnant. Irradiated she reached the emergency center. Strangely enough her child was born seemingly healthy. Mascha didn't survived though. And the child, a girl, was taken to a nearby orphanage after she was pronounced safe.

Named after her mother, Mascha grew up to be a fine young woman. Over the years there had been some strange occurances though. She never got sick... ever and she once burned the hand of a bully. Knowing the circumstances around her birth they send her to medical school in Kiev, where she started her education for radiologist while being under constant surveilance. Nicknamed 'Cher Nobyl' her latent powers involved nuclear fire and radiation.

The Hero Idol competition was a chance for her to show that you could be a hero even with rudimentary powers like this. After the national finals she gained a special suit and treatments for more control.
