Character Bio

Since their parents died, all Sheldon Prince had in this world was his sister Valerie. So, when she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer, he used his contacts at SERAPH to get an experimental medical device.

It was all going fine until the device began to overload. At the last second, he threw himself between his sister and the device taking most of the explosion and absorbing the rare isotope which powered it. This had the side effect of transferring every electron in his body into his sister, forming a sort of diploid electron system. Without an EM field, his body began to fall apart. Instinctively, Valerie used her new force field powers to keep him alive.

Unable to be away from his sister for too long and seeking a way to release the radiation building up inside, they now fight crime as Maverick Isotope and Valiant Shell.
