Character Bio

Joey LaChance had been a bio-chemist and researcher at Paragon Univeristy, until an Arachnos team invaded the lab, looking for God-knows-what. In the ensuing mayhem and explosion, Joey lost his forearms, hands, ankles and feet to fire and chemicals. Upon awaking, Joey discovered himself changed. Although the damage he suffered will not regenerate, in all other ways, Joey can heal himself and others. Too, he finds he can "sense" the minds of others. Working with his former colleagues at the university, he has developed cybor limbs to replace whay he has lost. And he has developed his "psi-goggles" which allow him to overload the synapses of his target, causing disorientation and unconsciousness. In a nod to both his French heritage, and his favorite charity, the Red Cross, he has named himself "Crucifer Rouge."
