Character Bio

Born blind and mute, this woman used to be one of the best mystical assassins in China. Her supernatural senses and talent for stealth would have been legend if anyone but her employer knew she existed, but she left no trace when she killed.

Unfortunately for her chosen career, death is not always enough to stop someone. She was sent to murder a witch whose hearing was said to be the best in the world, and the task which had killed so many prior agents was done with ease... but the vengeful spirit of the old crone would not let her assassin get off lightly. She laid a curse, that the assassin would never be silent again.

To the chagrin of the crone, the curse was far too strong--she attempted to overwhelm any defense to such spells, but the assassin was little more than a quiet girl with a knife. The "curse" restored her speech and gave her sonic superpowers.

The assassin has reconsidered her life in light of these changes. Perhaps she will someday make amends for all the death...
