Character Bio

It is said that Solomon, lauded for his wisdom in many things, waged war on the djinn. The king sealed them in bottles stoppered with lead, and tossed them into the sea where they rolled along the sandy bed, lost and powerless.

From time to time in the centuries that passed, one of these bottles would wash ashore to be found by some unsuspecting fisherman or sailor who, if he were foolish enough to break its seal, would come face to face with a living (and very cranky) legend of antiquity. Lilya's bottle was not fated for such a reappearance, though. Hers was found by an archaeological expedition, filed with a variety of other artifacts, and forgotten in a warehouse until it was stolen by members of the Warriors who were looking for rare items to fence and a bit of home decor.

When the Warriors realized what they had, they attempted to bind the djinni. Failing that, they tried to seal her back into her bottle and sell her. Lilya tricked them and freed herself, vowing revenge...
