Character Bio

In September of 2001, Army Sergeant First Class Vance Grissom, as part of an elite special operations unit, made his way into Afghanistan to establish contact with the Northern Alliance fighters and pave the way for follow-on US forces.  
When the Rikti returned, his team was reassigned the daunting task of assaulting the Rikti homeworld. Given incredible powers, Vance took the name Geronimo 69, after his old call-sign.
During the initial assault Vance was wounded and subsequently captured. The Rikti held him and tortured him for more than a year during which time the Army  presumed him dead. Finally escaping back to Earth, he is now back in the fight and looking for revenge!
