Character Bio

Jimmy Rodgers' doctoral thesis concerned super-cooling liquids. Perhaps he should have been more careful in his laboratory. A clumsy accident caused several liters of his most potent solution to splash all over his body. Without thinking, he ingested a potent anti-freeze to counteract the effects. The strange combination left him alive, but his body was chilled to a disasterously low temperature. Left with little recourse but to fight crime in his condition, he went through several names before choosing Absolutely Zero. Upon finding it was already registered with the Super Powered Persons Registration Board, he said to himself, "Well, if that guy is Absolutely Zero, then I'm positively zero!"
