Character Bio

In 1746 Suraya was the benevolent princess of a small kingdom in what would soon become Saudi Arabia. While on a caravaan she and her guards where attacked by raiders. Suraya had to run for her life and eventually got herself lost in the desert. It was there that she found the bottle. Actually, she tripped over it and broke it... releasing the evil djinn that was inside it.

Bound by the laws of magic the djinn had to grant her three wishes. Suraya wished for safe return to her home and prosperity for her people. With her third wish she wanted to keep the world safe from the demon by imprisoning him again. But the bottle was broken?! So she wished for him to be confined to the nearest suitable vessel able to hold him forever. That was a mistake! The djinn bonded with her body as demon spirits can do. He tried to escape his new prison... even to take over by corruption of her spirit. But she was able to keep him in check.

Now a living prison but empowered by the djinn, she had become Amira Al Sahara!
