Character Bio

Natalia Dmitrivich was a shift supervisor at the Terra Volta reactor plant. One time, when the Freaks were trying to destroy the reactor, she stayed behind to seal off critical components while heroes fought them off. A Freak runner came and almost killed her, if not for the intervention of Pointy Charybdis. The radiation of the core wreaked havoc on her nervous system, giving her radiation and fire control abilities. Seeing as how Pointy Charybdis was the one who saved her, Radiant sought out the help of Pointy to understand her developing powers. The Charybdis Clan took her in without hesitation, and Radiant far outshone her mentor's abilities earning the Hero of the City badge before Pointy. However, the two remain close friends, despite Pointy hanging up her cape. The spiked collar that Radiant wears helps remind her she is at the city's beck and call to protect and serve.
