Character Bio

At the age of 6, Anton Duergarrd was diagnosed as mildly autistic. His parents were devastated, but his grandfather, Papa Joe, had other ideas.

Remembering his own difficult childhood, Pap Joe began working with young Anton, teaching him not only how to adapt to a society that his brain found difficult to interpret, but also developing the innate talents that were at the root of Anton's difficulties.

In time, Anton adapted to the world he still does not easily understand, and has become a functioning member of society. He holds various day jobs around Paragon City, and uses his free time to search for a deeper understanding of people and to discover how he can mesh his reality with that of the people around him.

He uses his innate mental gifts to do this; but, during his searches he often identifies those who are "bad," and uses hsi gifts to punish them appropriately. (Papa Joe was a good teacher...)
