Character Bio

Abulia has lived most of her life under the thumbs of others. The Knives of Artemis raised her, but her inborn psychic abilities led to her being pressed into service by Crey, the Rikti, and the Carnival of Shadows. At age 25, the jaded woman finally escaped, becoming a pirate captain.

Her freedom didn't last; after only a year, Longbow sent her to the Zig. As might be expected, she's not happy about the authority of Arachnos. She seeks to weaken, perhaps even destroy, the entire organization, and she's been using her time to recruit followers to her cause.

Abulia needs technology to amplify and control her abilities, but she downplays her devices and tries to present herself as a sorceress. She usually leaves her victims alive, either for use as recruits or as a thorn in the side of Arachnos. A recent success against the Sky Raiders allowed her to expand her supporters beyond what she had as a pirate. With a base, stolen technology, and a small private army, the threat of Abulia grows daily.
