Character Bio

Many now know the story of Gally Ido, a refugee from the Rogue Isles who saved her boyfriend (Hugo) from being made into a Bane Spider. The villains of the Isles stopped her, but Arachnos failed to prevent Blue Steel from rescuing her later; most think the story stops there, with good triumphing over evil.

The truth, suppressed by Paragon City authorities, is much more delectable: Lord Recluse sent an assassin after the couple, and Hugo died. Gally, descending into hatred and bitterness, used her psychic talents to join Arachnos as a Widow.

Now Gally goes by the name Vitiator, ostensibly because of the crippling poisons she makes from snake venom. Her quest for revenge has not brought her comfort, and as time passes she cares less and less who she hurts. As she weaves plots against Lord Recluse, approaching him like a serpent in the grass, the danger of collateral damage skyrockets; someday, the Snake will strike the Spider, and all the world may be threatened by the reckless clash of powers.
