Character Bio

Gayle St.John was a normal, every day reporter until the day she investigated the newest technology being offered by the mysterious group later known as the FreakShow. She volunteered to be part of their experiment, and had a chip implanted in her brain. The chip went haywire during the first thunderstorm after the surgery. She found herself calling wind, and strange dark tentacles flew from her fingertips. Frightened, she sought help from her friend Steve Johnson. He introduced her to other heroes, and she found a new calling- stopping the Freakshow from doing any more experiments.
