While most of the other members of The Charybdis Clan have some wonderful and exciting story for their transformation into superheroes, Karen Clark has nothing like that. Instead, the childhood friend of Incredible and Smashing one day decided to see what would happen if she stuck a fork in an electrical socket. Thus was born her electrical prowress. And, in what has been a wonder of science, she proved once and for all mind over matter; she believed in the Psychic Friends Network so much, she was able to convince her mind to establish a psychic center, thus creating her mental manipulation controls.

While she may not SEEM bright, some revalations in the Charybdis Clan seem to show that she's much smarter than she wants people to believe....
