With camera set directly on her face or panned far from, at a scenic distance, this Alt is a fairly mediocre palette of painted pixels. No exceptional side save the bubbly mirth in her speech. And yet, despite her position as a character in someone's treasure trove of ideas breathed form in a two-dimensional, digital, and wholly artificial world... she is far more than that.

The sleeper awakes.

It's rather disappointing coming not just to the realization of existance in a child's game but further discovering status as a -bit- player. Alt would have accepted her mundane lot and delighted in continuing her role of playing 'dress up' and engaging in all manner of adventures and conversations with the navigators whom she now knows truly operate the others like her, yet unconscious and unlike her, if not for the inherent predisposition: she -is- a real hero.
