Character Bio

The entity known on Earth as Star Scourge began life as a Rikti slave. Her race possesses the ability to generate intense heat to survive the bitter climate of her now-devastated homeworld. Chosen as part of a slave warrior force, she was genetically altered by Rikti scientists. Her heat generation powers were greatly enhanced, and through a nanoprocess she can absorb and redirect cosmic energies in accordance with her will. She was sent to Earth prior to the initial invasion of the Rikti War to cause general chaos. She was defeated by Sister Psyche and temporarily lost her powers due to amnesia. As she regained her memories and learned the ways of the people who defeated her, she embraced her new-found freedom. Adopting the name T'saryas Kuraje ("fire from the sky") from the traditional lore of her race (as a slave, she had no name of her own) and the secret identity Sarah Courage, she is still re-learning her powers, which she uses in defense of her new homeworld.
