On an excavation site at the slopes of Mount Olympus, the renowned archaeologist Michael Sunn discovered the entrance to a secret underground temple dedicated to Apollo, the mighty god of light and truth. Inside, only an altar, with a shining helm on it. Sunn felt strangely attracted by the helm, almost compelled to wear it. When he did, he suddenly felt a great power rising inside him. His was the power of the sun! He decided to go back home, to Paragon City, and use such a great power to fight crime and re-establish the order in town, under the name of Dr. Sun.

Recently, Sunn found out that the helm of Apollo isn't the only ancient artifact connected with the power of the sun: in a hidden shrine under the Fujiyama he discovered the mythical armor that Amaterasu, goddess of the sun, forged for his grandson, who would gave birth to the imperial lineage. Combined with the helm, the armor maximizes the power of Dr. Sun, making him almost unbeatable.

So beware, criminals, because the Doctor is in!
