Character Bio

Jakob Frost was the child of a family on the edge of starvation on devastated Mercy Island. Nursing a bitterness toward those who lived in luxury while his family struggled, he vowed to rise from poverty. When his mutant powers manifested in adolescence, his dreams came true.

Jakob's ambition and ruthlessness have served him well. Under the patronage of Captain Mako, he was the Acting Ambassador to the UN for the Etoile Islands during the infamous Agincourt Crisis. Recalled when Mako temporarily fell from favor, Jakob quickly recovered and assisted his patron in exposing Longbow's Delilah Project. Interested in doing well and living well, Jakob is not as concerned about the welfare of others--if someone else has what he needs, he's willing to cheat it out of them or beat it out of them. Recently, Jakob was asked to destroy a poor neighborhood on behalf of Arachnos and found he was unwilling to do so. Still personally loyal to Mako, Jakob has considered breaking away from Arachnos.
