John Manfred was a world-renowned illusionist and stage magician to the outside world. Little did the public know that he had a far different career in his off-hours. When night would fall, John would put away his stage toys and beome the gangbuster known as The Magnificent Manfred!

Trained by the Holy Priests of Llamasar, Manfred uses his mystically-swirled Medallion of the Trion to cloud men's minds, weaken them and replenish his own energies with theirs.
