Aliens have visited our world in our ancient past. Many of these influenced our developing social and scientific beliefs, and of course, our religions.

Of these, the Kapholi are particularly active missionaries to the less fortunate races (those without interstellar travel). So after 7ooo years or so, they have sent an envoy to check on our development and share newer enlightenments with us. Kapholi are like many faiths in the universe, with their share of jihads, inquisitions and crusades.

Antoinette herself volunteered for the cell and gene alterations by the Sisters. These modifications allow her to tap into the great flow from the creator, and is what allows her to manifest the 'divine fire'.
