"Dr. come look at this!", the assistant said. In the growth tank floated the fortunata clone destined for the ranks of the fateweavers. "What is it?", asked the doctor. "This unit shows XXY gene-typing! It is anomolous.", gasped the junior. "Actually", the doctor replied "more of an evolution than an anomoly. Such a creature would be capable of mastering both fortunata and mu disciplines. it might even be beyond the fateweavers ability to track through time." The assistant paled. "you aren't actually thinking about letting it live?", he  asked. The doctor pressed the memory-program cartridge into the clone's console at the same time he pressed the blade into the intern's kidneys. As the young man slumped, the doctor said, "Let it live? Why, I created it!"
