Character Bio

Astra grew up in a small community in the rural southern United States. Her father was a businessman. Her mother was a model and actress. She spent her childhood traveling the world with her parents when she wasn't busy with her education. Astra took a keen liking to the sciences from her earliest days. She graduated from the University of Florida at age 16 with a Ph d. in Biotechnology and Genetics. She minored in Electrical Engineering, with studies in mechanics, astrophysics, and quantum mathematics. She had also been Captain of the Archery Squad, winning 3 straight National Championships. She returned home after finishing a 2 year tour in the USAF, to find her mother and father had fallen ill. The disease had yet to be fully discovered and by the time Astra could slow the progression, it was too late. At her parents funeral, a colleague of her dad, a Shadow Ravenwolf, recruited her to help in Paragon.
