Devils normally aren?t into the whole ?love? thing unless pretending to it will gain them something.

Migaroth?s perspective is different.

The human who summoned him possessed an artifact called the Chains of Command; believing they would grant him complete control over the chaotic being, he pierced what he thought was Migaroth?s heart with the Key Ring and bound him in the icy Chains. Devils, of course, do not have hearts, but the Chains did their job just well enough. Migaroth was obligated to help the human trick the object of his desire into falling in love with him.

The spectacular failure of this ploy left the man dead and Migaroth trapped in a material body. He was now a ronin-devil, a directionless spirit. For the first time, he experienced loneliness and regret. He reconsidered the value of affection, and gradually grew more circumspect about messing with people?s heads.

His search for a way to remove the Chains has taken him far abroad and even led to a precious few allies...
