Pinch me. This is too good to believe.
On second thought, don't. I'd much rather not wake up, and have to go back to that miserable existence I'm supposed to call a life. Here, I'm with people I like and respect, and who like and respect me in turn. There, I must put up with a tyrant of a stepfather, his ridiculous edicts and imbecilic offspring.
I'd really rather stay here, where I can do good by Lim-Ku, Dhari and Falgo ? even though I have no idea where these strange powers came from or how I ever learned to use a sword.
I keep expecting to wake up to crushing disappointment. But maybe this -is- real, and I never have to go back to that awful place I used to call home. This can be my new home. This can be my new life ? and eventually maybe I'll forget my old one. There's hardly any of it worth remembering anyway. Stauchern may see me again, but it won't be the same me.
