Character Bio

Badis Aqar Mouataz was a field agent for the FBI in New York City for several years. Like many mutants, his powers emerged at puberty; however, the ability to fly could hardly be considered a hindrance to his work, and in fact the occasional power-driven punch made him rather more effective.

Among the many things the Rikti War destroyed was the rhythm of Agent Mouataz' life, for reasons which history makes quite evident. The New York City branch eventually recovered, if after much struggle, tenuously holding on to the well-known procedures that kept it running of old. Rather than hold Mouataz down to his New York City post, however, the head of the department wisely recommended his transfer to Paragon City, where his investigative and sharpshooting skills would better serve its citizens.

Mouataz is registered as a zeta-index mutant.
