Louise Markinson had been working the mail room pretty much since day one. She didn't care WHAT was in the packages, as long as all the requisite forms were filled out properly, and that all incoming packages were clearly labelled.

It didn't matter to her.

Until, finally, one package had been mislabelled and sat on her desk for three days straight. In order to ascertain who was supposed to receive this small box, she opened it, hoping that some identifying information would be with the packing slip. Unfortunately, it was a trap, mis-sent to her company by the Carnies. Instead of the intended recipient getting turned into a freak, Louise was thusly bestowed with powers beyond mortal ken, etc. and so forth.

Now, when she's not keeping her health plan maintained by The Man, she kicks bad-guy butt.
